Rankings react to changes you barely remember making. Numative keeps the record for you. The tracking snippet fingerprints each page as visitors load it. Edits surface on the first visit after they happen. The WordPress plugin and the ping API report publishes and updates at the exact second. A scheduled crawler and hourly sitemap polling catch everything else, including new and removed pages.
Each change is diffed against the last snapshot: title, meta description, headings, word count and structured data. You see exactly what changed. Add your own annotations for deploys and campaigns.

Know what moved and what likely caused it.
Numative ranks every page by week-over-week movement, weighted by volume. A 200% jump on 10 visits does not outrank a 30% drop on 10,000. The biggest mover is called out on your overview.
Each anomaly comes with candidate causes pulled from the same timeline: a detected edit, a backlink day, a confirmed Google update, a referral spike. You stop reverse-engineering your own site history.

Search Console rankings show the queries and pages you rank for, with position, clicks, impressions and CTR. An SEO report joins them per page with the changes you made to that page. Backlinks come with gains, losses and Ahrefs Domain Rating. Core Web Vitals field data comes from real Chrome users.

07Bots and AI crawlers
See which AI models are reading your site.
JavaScript trackers cannot see crawlers. Numative captures them server-side through the WordPress plugin or an edge worker: GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and dozens more. Each visit is verified by source IP. Crawler traffic stays out of your visitor numbers and your event quota.

The Numative tracker sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifiers. Sessions use a short-lived id in the visitor's own browser that rotates after 30 minutes. Visitors can opt out. Localhost traffic is ignored automatically.

There is no overage bill and no surprise invoice. If your traffic goes past the size you picked, we move you up one step so every event is still collected, charge only the prorated difference for the rest of the period, and email you. It happens at most once per billing period, and you can move back down any time. Past 50M events a month we talk to you rather than charging you automatically.
How history and retention work
Your aggregated traffic history never expires: visitors, visits and pageviews over time are always there, back to your site's first day, on every plan. Raw, row-level detail, the kind that powers breakdowns, filters, journeys, per-visitor paths and page speed, is kept for a window that scales with your size, from 12 months up to 120. Older detail is rolled up rather than deleted outright, so the trends stay and only the raw drill-down for very old dates ages out.

Common questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Signing up starts a 14-day trial of the full product with no card on file. When the trial ends you pick a plan. If you do not, the account locks and your data stays viewable until you subscribe.
Is the tracker really cookieless?
Yes. The snippet sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifiers. Sessions use a short-lived id kept in the visitor's own sessionStorage that rotates after 30 minutes of inactivity. Many teams run it without a consent banner. Confirm the requirements for your jurisdiction with your own counsel.
Can I keep using Google Analytics?
Yes. Connect a GA4 property read-only and get the same dashboard over your existing data, or install the Numative snippet and track independently. A site can use both at once. The dashboard lets you switch between them.
Which features need the Numative snippet?
Funnels, goals, paths, behavior flow, custom properties, revenue and data imports need event-level data. They are available on sites using the Numative tracker. Change detection, anomalies, rankings, backlinks, Search Console and Core Web Vitals work with either source.
What counts as an event?
A pageview or a custom event sent by the tracker. Bot and AI crawler hits captured server-side and page-change fingerprints are recorded outside your event quota.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes. You can import aggregate history from Plausible, Fathom or GA4 exports, plus Numative JSON and event-level CSV. Imports are tagged and reversible.
How long is my data kept?
Forever, on every plan. Numative never deletes analytics data by age.
