Flow
See how visitors move through your site: the session flow from any entry page, and every path into and out of a page you focus on.
The Flow tab answers "what do visitors do next?" from two directions, with a toggle at the top of the tab. All traffic starts at the beginning of a session and fans out; Focus a page centers on one page and shows every way in and out. Both are built from the pageview sequences of real sessions and respect the filter bar and date range, so you can look at, say, mobile organic traffic only.
All traffic
The All traffic mode draws a flow diagram of sessions step by step: entry pages on the left, then where those visitors went second, third and so on, with link thickness showing volume and drop-offs visible at each step.
- Start page: leave it empty to see all entries, or set a path to follow only sessions that began there.
- Steps: how many steps of the journey to draw.
Focus a page
The Focus a page mode flips the question: pick a focus page and see what visitors did in the steps before they reached it and where they went after. Useful for a pricing page (what convinces people to open it?) or a high-exit page (where does the journey break?).
You can link straight to a page in Focus mode with ?path=/pricing on the Flow tab URL. The journey shortcut on page rows and breakdown cards does exactly this.
