Public dashboards
Share a read-only dashboard with a private link, optionally password protected, or make it fully public at a clean URL with your domain.
Turn on Public dashboard in your site's Settings to share a read-only view of its stats: visitors, visits, pageviews, the traffic chart, top pages and top sources, with the same date-range selector you use. Viewers cannot see settings, goals or anything else, and need no account.
Two levels
| Level | URL | Who can open it |
|---|---|---|
| Private link | https://app.numative.com/share/<token> | People you send the link to. The token is unguessable, and you can add a password. |
| Public | https://app.numative.com/share/yourdomain.com | Everyone. The URL is your domain, so it can be typed, linked and found by search engines. |
Private link
- The link is minted the first time you save with sharing on. Turning sharing off disables it; turning it back on restores the same URL.
- Password (optional): viewers enter it once and stay unlocked on that browser for 7 days. Changing the password locks everyone out until they enter the new one. Only a hash is stored.
- Expiry (optional): the link stops working at the end of the selected day.
- Private links are excluded from search engine indexes.
Public
- The dashboard is served at
/share/<your domain>in addition to the private link, which keeps working. - The page is indexable, so your stats can appear in search results.
- Switching to this level removes any share password: a URL anyone can guess cannot be password-gated.
- A domain's public URL can be claimed by one account. If another account already shares that domain publicly, you get an error and can still use the private link. Turning the public level off releases the claim.
The expiry date applies to both levels, and sharing works the same for tracker-based and GA4-backed sites.
